For some, the transfer from training to classroom practice can be challenging. Having an expert observing in the classroom and offering in-the-moment coaching can provide tremendous growth for both struggling and exceptional teachers.
Liesl has observed hundreds of teachers across the globe and has developed the skill to recognize within minutes what adjustments could be made to boost student achievement.
Here is how it works: Teachers (with support from their administrators) identify the desired areas of growth. Liesl observes a class, providing in-the-moment coaching during transitions to allow for immediate implementation and the feeling of success. Several pages of feedback are given directly to the teacher before leaving the classroom. Post-observation/coaching conversations with the teacher solidifies their learning as Liesl supports the teacher in developing goals and an action plan for further development. A comprehensive report on general themes observed through multiple coaching sessions with teachers are shared with the school leadership team.
